Today was spent in the sun brushing and spacing trees.
I’m in! I now have the secret gate code for the sewage ponds at Iona. Finally I’m one of the cool birders in the know, and not one of the lame-o’s always looking over the fence.

Went for a rainy 10.5km amble around Pitt-Addington Marsh Wildlife Management Area today.
Went down to Lonsdale Quay to pick these little cuties up for my year list. Also grabbed Bewick’s wrens, western grebes, and greater white-fronted geese from Stanley Park and Maplewood. Eighty nine species and counting for the year so far.
