Today was spent in the sun brushing and spacing trees.
I’m in! I now have the secret gate code for the sewage ponds at Iona. Finally I’m one of the cool birders in the know, and not one of the lame-o’s always looking over the fence.
There were good times and there were bad times. But the important thing was we shared them all together. I’ll miss you old pants. But only as long as it takes me to get adjusted to new pants.
Went down to Lonsdale Quay to pick these little cuties up for my year list. Also grabbed Bewick’s wrens, western grebes, and greater white-fronted geese from Stanley Park and Maplewood. Eighty nine species and counting for the year so far.
